Activities

MVA uses a trauma-informed approach to learning that is both collaborative and fun. Our programs take place on a 900-acre ranch that has a lake, pool, gardens, and a wide variety of domestic and wild animals that support and enhance student learning. We encourage students to get outside of the classroom to inspire and motivate their interests in academics through a variety of experiential learning modules.

Learning activities include:

  • Equestrian handling and care
  • Hiking
  • Backpacking
  • Fishing
  • Gardening
  • Ceramics
  • Woodworking
  • Biking
